Mark Wang

Mr. Wang is a patent agent with the firm of Gazdzinski & Associates. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA. Mr. Wang has more than 7 years of industry experience developing complete chipset solutions for the telecommunications field.

Prior to joining the firm of Gazdzinski & Associates, Mr. Wang was a senior engineer at Texas Instruments. Mr. Wang began his career in board hardware, and then transitioned to rapid FPGA prototyping. He has a long history of developing digital baseband chips for wireless phone standards including GSM, GPRS, EDGE, CDMA2000, and UMTS.

In addition to his broad background in wireless, he has also developed many related peripherals necessary for cellular phone construction.

Mr. Wang's additional experience includes processor and ASIC design, hardware/software co-verification, power management, and board fabrication.

Vadim Polonichko

Vadim Polonichko is a consulting patent agent with Gazdzinski & Associates. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and holds a Doctoral degree in Underwater Acoustics from University of Victoria, Canada. His undergraduate degree (BS/MS in Automation and Electronics) was completed at Moscow Institute of Technology and Physics, Russia. To augment his technical education, Dr. Polonichko has successfully completed Graduate Certificate in Technology Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Dr. Polonichko was employed at Teledyne Technologies Inc. as a Senior Systems Engineer, researching and developing new technologies for spread spectrum signal processing, ultrasonic imaging, and phased arrays. He advises senior management on technology-related IP matters. His interests include underwater acoustics, signal processing for wireless communications, sensor development, IMU, magnetic and MEMS sensor integration, and GPS augmented navigation.

Prior to Teledyne, Dr. Polonichko was an Engineering Programs Manager with Assure Controls, managing development of water testing instrumentation, and was employed at Sontek/YS, Inc. for several years where he investigated new technologies and developed algorithms for acquisition, processing and presentation of ultrasonic Doppler flow sensor data.

Dr. Polonichko was instrumental in receiving several external funding awards (STTR and SBIR). He has coauthored numerous papers, presented his work at professional conferences, and is the lead inventor on an issued U.S. patent.
